Mitsubishi Heavy elects Hideaki as president

MITSUBISHI Heavy Industries appointed senior executive vice president Hideaki Omiya to take up the post of president from April 1.
The decision reached by Mitsubishi Heavy's board on January 29, is part of a management reshuffle.

The firm's current president Kazuo Tsukuda, will move to the post of chairman.

Tsukuda will succeed Takashi Nishioka who becomes the firm's senior corporate advisor.
