JAPAN: Mitsubishi Electric is to establish a sales company in Indonesia to handle sales of air conditioning systems, home appliances and factory automation.
Mitsubishi Electric Indonesia will commence operations in March 2013 and is targeted to achieve sales of $300m by the fiscal year ending in March 2016. The new company will help to strengthen links with current distributors and sales agents for expanded business in Indonesia, a priority market for Mitsubishi Electric.
Based in Jakarta, the new company will be headed by Takeshi Terada and is expected to employ 60 people.
