WE HAVE the O2 Arena and the Labatts Apollo, now Mitsubishi Electric has joined the list of companies sponsoring cool concert venues.
The German subsidiary of the Japanese manufacturer has leant its name to a major rock venue in Düsseldorf. The Mitsubishi Electric Halle was officially opened last week with an inaugural concert by James Blunt, who performed in front of almost 3,500 fans.
The indoor arena which was built in 1971, was formerly known as the Philipshalle.
