AIR conditioning supplier PACAIR has been appointed as an official Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Mitsubishi Electric.

The Hemel Hempstead-based company, founded by Nigel Palmer in 2002 offers a nationwide design and distribution service to the commercial, leisure, retail and residential sectors.

'Nigel and his team have quickly emerged as one of the UK's leading independent providers and they offer a wealth of experience in the design and supply of air conditioning solutions that matches the high standards that we demand,' said Deane Flint, sales director for Mitsubishi Electric.

'We have been trading with PACAIR for the past 18 months and have gone from strength to strength so the formalisation of our relationship was a logical next step,'

PACAIR joins Mitsubishi Electric's nationwide sales network along with its two wholesalers, Kooltech and Dean & Wood, to offer air conditioning and environmental control equipment.

PACAIR keeps its role as a sales channel for the Toshiba brand as part of its non-exclusive agreement with Mitsubishi Electric.

'I believe the two brands complement each other in the PACAIR portfolio, but I can also see the potential for significant growth of the Mitsubishi Electric side of our business as more and more consultants and customers reflect on the environmental leadership that the Mitsubishi Electric brand has taken,' said PACAIR Nigel Palmer.
