BOB GATTING, a former employee at Mitie Air Conditioning, will be enjoying a Nintendo Wii with his grandchildren this Christmas after winning the ACR News prize draw.
The grandfather of seven was delighted to be announced the winner of the ACR News prize draw , which was open to all readers of this website's newsletter.
The popular home video game console comes with a wireless remote control which can be used as a handheld pointing device and can detect movement in three dimensions.
Bob Gatting recently retired as contracts manager with Mitie Air Conditioning (South West) Ltd after 55 years in the refrigeration/air conditioning industry.
He said 'I'm surprised to hear I've won. I always hear about others winning prizes and its nice to know I've won it'.
Gatting admitted 'Of the grandchildren, there's five boys and two girls'.
He said 'I can see it's an ideal Christmas present'.
But, Gatting confessed 'I plan to get the grandchildren to show me how to use it.'
