Minister to address HPA’s Annual Conference

The Heat Pump Association (HPA) will welcome Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, Minister for Energy Consumers, to deliver the keynote address at its inaugural conference on 26 November 2025 at the British Library in London. The event marks the HPA’s 30th anniversary and aims to accelerate the UK’s transition to low-carbon heating.

The conference, titled Heat Pumps: How to further, faster…, will convene policymakers, industry leaders and technical experts to explore strategies for scaling up heat pump deployment. Fahnbulleh’s participation reflects growing government engagement with the sector and its role in delivering net zero commitments.

Additional keynote speakers include Nick Winser, Commissioner at the National Infrastructure Commission, and Paul Kenny, Director General of the European Heat Pump Association. The agenda will feature sessions on heat networks, green finance and the Future Homes Standard, with contributions from Dr Richard Lowes (Regulatory Assistance Project), Dr Emily Nurse (Climate Change Committee), and Nesta’s Madeleine Gabriel.

Closing remarks will be delivered by Tom Hayes MP, HPA Patron and National Energy Mission Champion. A networking reception will follow.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
