LEADING Leicestershire-based contractors WR Refrigeration Ltd has appointed Mike Nicholas as managing director. He joins WR from Honeywell Control Systems Ltd and replaces Hugh Cole who left at the end of September.
Mike formerly worked as a refrigeration engineer for General Refrigeration, Carter Refrigeration and then Lincold Refrigeration, before that company was acquired by Honeywell in 1997.
Following the acquisition, he developed his career through various management posts with Honeywell, into the broader area of technical FM services.

Reporting to group managing director and WR Chairman, Hannu Saastamoinen, Mike Nicholas also becomes a member of parent company Huurre Group's management team.
