Mike Creamer appointed president elect

The Institute of Refrigeration (IoR) has elected Mike Creamer, managing director of Business Edge as president-elect, to take over the presidency of the IoR from current incumbent Kevin Glass in November 2020.

The announcement was made yesterday at the Institute’s AGM, which also saw Lisa-Jayne Cook of J&E Hall and Juliet Loiselle of ACR Journal being elected to the board of trustees,  replacing Mike Nankivell and Dave Bostock.

Mr Creamer has  a long history of advocating energy saving within air conditioning and refrigeration systems, developing and disseminating technology skills and knowledge to contractors and engineers and end-users. 

Mr Creamer said: I am truly honoured to have been chosen by the membership of the Institute of Refrigeration as President Elect, ultimately taking over from our excellent and current President, Kevin Glass. I aim to do my utmost for the benefit of the industry and the excellent personnel within it as well as the Institute of Refrigeration.'
