MEXICHEM Fluor SA is the latest company to pledge its support for the ACR News Awards. The Mexican chemical manufacturer, which last year purchased UK refrigerant producer Ineos Fluor, has announced its decision to sponsor the industry's leading awards event taking place at the end of March.
Established as the world's largest producers of fluorspar and hydrofluoric acid, both key raw materials in the production of fluorochemicals, Mexichem's purchase of Ineos Fluor created a specialty fluorochemicals business with a worldwide presence and annual sales of over US$500m.

Welcoming the new sponsors, Neil Everitt, editor of ACR News, said: 'The addition of Mexichem adds further credibility to our Awards which have already attracted support from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Hawco and Space Air. With their support I am confident that this year's Awards ceremony will be the best ever.'

The ACR News Awards will take place at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC, at lunchtime on March 31st.
