3D Plus has been established as the result of Beijer Ref attaining the rights to distribute Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ air conditioning and heat pump offerings in UK and Ireland, with Beijer Ref as the majority owner.
Mr Richards was most recently UK and Ireland general manager for Midea air conditioning distributor, FG Europe UK.
He said: “I am delighted to be setting up this new joint venture between Beijer Ref and MHI. The MHI brand is very strong in the UK and through this joint venture, 3D Plus will undoubtedly grow on this success.”
