Local training aids business fitness for DCI

With vocational training at the heart of its employee development, DCI Refrigeration & Electrical is sending six employees back to local colleges this Autumn to continue their City & Guilds qualifications in refrigeration, air conditioning and electrical disciplines.
Director Gareth Chambers said: 'Here in Portsmouth we're lucky enough to have establishments like Highbury College nearby which ensures our staff benefit from local education and training, supporting our commitment to offer customers the highest possible standards of workmanship across everything we do.

'Whether we're installing or maintaining air conditioning equipment in office environments or designing vital chilling systems for the food and retail industries our ability to win business is significantly helped by having well trained and certified staff.'

DCI employees Paul Fletcher, Tom Morgan and Aaron Mursell are embarking on City & Guilds Level 2 Diplomas in refrigeration and air conditioning while Chris Hobbs and Steven Allen are going on to complete their level 3 Diplomas. Alun Chambers will be completing his City & Guilds 2357-13 in Electrical installation.

Employing 56 staff, DCI designs, builds and maintains innovative temperature control solutions and has over 20 years' expertise.
