LLOYD COILS EUROPE has now launched 2 new fin patterns for low temperature evaporator coils particularly suited for refrigerated display cases.
Pattern L40 has 12mm od tubes on 40mm x 50mm in-line tube pattern.

Pattern 4S4 has ½' od tubes on 40.5mm x 35mm staggered tube pattern.

Tubes can be in copper or aluminium, plain bore or inner-grooved.
Fins can be in aluminium or coated aluminium.

Fin spacing from 3mm up to 10mm wide is available, making the coils suitable for most low temperature applications.

LLOYD COILS EUROPE has also launched a new coil coating technology, LCE Coating, which will protect the finned tube heat exchanger coil from corrosion, mould and bacteria.

LCE Coating is a water based product that brings 2 significant improvements when applied to the coil, super hydrophobic effect and antimicrobial protection.

The coating process guarantees 100% penetration and protection. The entire coil is immersed into a liquid form of the coating letting the liquid penetrate even the smallest spaces between fins including fin collar, louvers, and heater slots.

In addition, all other parts such as U-bends, end plates, headers etc, are coated and protected also.

LCE Coating makes a protective elastic layer on the whole surface of the coil. This layer is capable of absorbing the thermal dilatation of the coil without cracking. This elasticity is a critical ability whilst the coil is in operation to prevent the creation of cracks where corrosion would be likely to begin.
