LG and Siemens partner up to develop BMS

LG ELECTRONICS has struck a deal with Germany’s Siemens to work together to develop integrated building management solutions for the ac commercial sector.
The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 20, to cooperate on developing system control solutions.

Under the MOU, Siemens will become a strategic supplier for LG, providing its integrated building management solution for HVAC products.

LG's partnership with Europe's largest engineering firm combines LG’s air conditioning expertise with Siemens’ expertise in providing system control solutions for commercial systems.

The MOU’s signing was marked with a ceremony held at LG’s digital appliance factory in Changwon, Korea.

'LG believes that cooperating with Siemens will reinforce its global leadership in the commercial air conditioning sector, helping it offer more advanced products and services that set it apart from competitors', said a spokesman for LG.
