[firstParagraph]
A MAN died and two others were hospitalised, after they contracted legionnaires' disease from two contaminated cooling towers in Australia.
The 66 year-old man died in hospital, a day after the Health Department was notified he had the disease.
Two other men, aged 33 and 40, contracted the disease and were admitted to hospital on May 24 and 25. They have since been discharged.
