FORGET Halloween, market leading companies in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry are reminded that this Friday – October 31st – is the closing date for entries for the ACR News Awards 2009.

TV's Mock The Week comedian Hugh Dennis has been confirmed as the presenter of the ACR News Awards 2009. The taller half of the comedy duo Punt & Dennis, Hugh will front the glittering awards ceremony which will take place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on February 25 2009 – the Wednesday evening of the RAC Show.

The ACR News Awards 2009 are sponsored by some of the leading names in the industry: Air Creation, FG Eurofred, Haier, Hawco, LG, Mitsubishi Heavy, Panasonic, Space Airconditioning and Vaillant.

Tickets for the awards night, which is expected to be a sell-out, are now on sale – and there are savings to be made for early bookers. Until November 28, a table of 10 is available for £900 + VAT, a table of five for £500 + VAT and single places at £100.00 + VAT.
