KRIWAN presents innovations in diagnosis and energy efficiency

KRIWAN ‘Green’ is another key issue to be addressed at Chillventa 2014. A new version of the INT280 oil level regulator has been specially designed for use with natural refrigerants and is now also available with a diagnosis function. The INT59C control module helps increase the energy efficiency of refrigeration systems. Acting as a capacity controller, it ensures optimum control and line regulation for several compressors in one system. This, in turn, increases the efficiency of the system as a whole and brings about a lasting reduction in energy consumption.

KRIWAN is presenting new products, new areas of application and new perspectives at this year’s Chillventa.

In terms of condition monitoring, visitors can expect to discover a broad spectrum of expertise and applications developed by experts from Forchtenberg at this year’s Chillventa. The concept of condition monitoring is based on taking regular or constant measurements and analyses of a machine’s physical parameters, such as oscillations, temperatures and pressure, in order to ascertain its condition.

The aim of condition monitoring is two-fold: to ensure safety and machine efficiency. As part of this process, KRIWAN products are used to record the relevant system parameters using first-rate sensors, as well as to analyse the data by means of innovative diagnosis technology. This makes both controlling the power output of refrigeration systems and protecting these systems safer, faster and more efficient.

In addition, KRIWAN is presenting its new PTC+ sensors at Chillventa, offering added protection for temperature monitoring in motor protectors with a diagnosis function. And with a view to increasing the efficiency of data collection and analysis, new software and functionalities have also been added in order to expand the range of INT69 diagnosis technology available.

INTelligence 3.0 and the new INTspector enable users to access operational data from their refrigeration systems on the spot via a smartphone, or from central database which can be accessed at any time via the new web portal. KRIWAN’s expertise when it comes to providing efficient, reliable and user-friendly condition monitoring – even under the most challenging of conditions – is also demonstrated by the INT69 motor protectors.
