On 1 July Dr Christian Ellwein was appointed managing director of KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik GmbH by corporate partner Friedrich Kriwan and the company’s advisory board.
As managing director, Dr Ellwein is responsible for KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik GmbH in Forchtenberg, as well as the sales offices in Austria, Italy, France, China and the USA.
Christian Ellwein studied and received his doctorate in Heilbronn, Germany and Newcastle, England. After completing his academic education in engineering, he worked in senior positions at Bürkert and Amphenol before coming to KRIWAN in 2012. He was initially employed as the company’s technical director.
In the future, he intends to add to his current activities at KRIWAN by expanding the distribution channels and opening up new applications by promoting product innovations. His ultimate aim is then to build upon these developments.
KRIWAN is a systems supplier of advanced sensor technology and electronics for the trouble-free operation of machines and systems. One of the company’s major markets is refrigeration and air conditioning technology and the protection of these systems.
