KEVIN Glass has been appointed managing director of Bitzer UK Ltd. He replaces Mark Sowden who is leaving the refrigeration industry after three years in the role.
Kevin Glass takes up his role after 25 years at the refrigeration compressor company, having first joined APV Hall Commercial (acquired by Bitzer in 1993) as an internal sales enginner in 1986. He was appointed engineering manager in 1998 and for the last eleven years Kevin has been responsible for all the major facilities at the company's Milton Keynes head Office.
Kevin, 49, is a well known figure in the UK refrigeration industry and is a member of the Institute of Refrigeration. He has represented Bitzer UK over the years at countless technical seminars and industry events.
In conjunction with Kevin's appointment, Mick Cooper has taken on the role of engineering manager.
