JOCHEN Winkler is to retire as president of the European refrigeration component manufacturers association ASERCOM.
Mr Winkler has been involved with the association since its formation in 1992. 'My baby is grown up now and does not need an 82 years old father anymore but a person guiding ASERCOM into a fast changing world of global activities,' he commented.
Claude Blanc, who is well known in the European acr industry, will take over as president on May 1. Mr Blanc previously held management positions with Maneurop, Emerson, Carrier and Heatcraft and, until recently, owned the French distribution company Disco Froid.
