This strategic move has already paid dividends, with Jet landing a multi-year service contract with one of the world’s largest logistics providers. The award covers a full-service maintenance programme at the client’s flagship distribution hub at London Gateway - a highly complex facility featuring extensive temperature and humidity-controlled zones across warehousing, office and catering areas. The systems in place play a vital role in supporting the storage and handling of temperature-sensitive goods.
“This is a major project for us from one of the global leaders in logistics,” commented Chris Lawton, Jet Environmental’s service manager. “Work is already underway to bring the equipment across the site to peak operational efficiency. This project is particularly exciting due to the complexity and scale of the systems involved.”
Jason Hibbs, Jet’s managing director, added: “We’ve been really encouraged by the level of enquiries since announcing the expansion of our service division. This business win is a great endorsement of our approach and capabilities. I’m incredibly proud of our engineering team that covers the UK and our knowledgeable, genuinely caring support desk, which makes a real difference to our customers.”
