With a mechanical engineering degree and a career spanning roles at Daikin UK and a contractor specialising in renewables and HVAC design, Chris has a proven track record in after-sales technical engineering, pre-sales technical applications, and designing energy-efficient systems. Reporting to technical director Ivan Garcia, he will lead the design of technically compliant HVAC systems for the warehousing sector, integrating Jet Environmental’s bespoke products with third-party equipment.
Ludwig said: “What attracted me to Jet Environmental is their niche expertise in HVAC solutions for large-scale industrial buildings. The decarbonisation of such facilities has the potential to significantly impact environmental targets. Whether it’s through energy-saving measures that reduce a client’s carbon footprint or meeting legal requirements like planning regulations or BREEAM standards, I’m excited to contribute to a greener future.”
Ludwig’s responsibilities will include thermal modelling, plant design and selection, ductwork and pipework system design, plus control systems integration. He aims to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of HVAC solutions while delivering value to clients.
Jason Hibbs, Jet’s managing director, said: 'We are delighted to welcome Chris to our team. His wealth of experience in HVAC design and passion for energy efficiency aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver cutting-edge, sustainable solutions to our clients. His technical expertise and fresh ideas will undoubtedly help us achieve our ambitious goals for innovation and growth.”
