Roe brings more than 24 years’ senior experience across the built environment, engineering, facilities management and HVAC sectors. She began her career with technical training at the School of Army Aeronautical Engineering (SAAE) in the British Army before moving into roles delivering complex engineering and infrastructure solutions for public and private-sector clients.
Her previous positions include senior business development roles at adi Facilities Engineering and CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, where she led hard services programmes, HVAC projects, strategic bid activity and sustainable infrastructure initiatives across sectors such as healthcare, education, government, logistics, retail, life sciences and manufacturing.
Jet said the appointment supports its focus on delivering tailored temperature and humidity control systems for demanding environments, including warehouses, industrial facilities and data centres.
Roe said she was drawn to the company’s combination of technical capability and innovation: “Jet has an outstanding reputation for designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining bespoke HVAC systems for some of the UK’s most demanding environments. With my engineering background and broad experience in business development and HVAC-related project solutions, I saw a strong alignment with Jet’s approach.”
She will work closely with managing director Jason Hibbs, with an initial focus on strengthening Jet’s presence in logistics, pharmaceuticals, industrial applications and data centres, while developing integrated sales and marketing strategies that highlight the impact of the company’s energy-efficient solutions.
Hibbs said: “Amanda brings an excellent balance of technical understanding, strategic thinking and commercial experience. Her background across engineering and facilities management, combined with her passion for customer relationships and sustainable growth, makes her a strong addition to the team.”
