It's a fair COP for China's air-conditioners

CHINA is to implement a new energy efficiency standard for air conditioners, which will see COP levels raised by an average of 23%.
From June 1 2010, the lowest COP for market entry will be raised to 3.2 from the current 2.6, for air conditioners with a rated power output of up to 4.5kW.
