In developing the Template and the draft Policy Briefs we invite everyone– the entire range of users as well as specialists – to consider how they will engage in the journey to achieve net zero for our sector.”

The 'Heating and Cooling' policy brief recommendations are organised around the seven themes highlighted by Beyond Refrigeration namely:

- Use energy intelligently
- Developing the best people and skills
- What Else? Whole System Sustainability and more.
The 'Developing the Best People and Skills' policy brief details policy options to effect lasting change for employers and people across three key target groups:
- Owner operator knowledge and end-user awareness
- Technician skills
- Design and consulting engineer skills.
