Sam Buckell, chairman of the Institute of Refrigeration's Women in RACHP Network.
Promoting diversity and inclusion, the networking session is aimed at women and men working in any capacity within the RACHP sector, who are keen to further their careers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the following guest speakers, who will discuss their personal career paths: Lisa Pogson, joint managing director at Airmaster; Jane Gartshore, partner at Cool Concerns; Shelley Bowdery, previously head of maths and science at St Joseph’s College; and Ian Fisher, business development manager at Airmaster.
Sam Buckell, chairman of the IOR’s Women in RACHP Network said: “The presenters will speak about how they all got to where they are today, discussing their experiences both professional and personal.”
The networking morning is also intended to help with the promotion of the RACHP sector to youngsters; a number of head teachers from local schools will participate, detailing how the industry can help to spark greater interest in engineering as a career choice.
Ms Buckell added: “Speakers will conclude with their ideas of how we move forward with the industry to attract a more diverse workforce, sharing what they may have been achieving in this area so far and inspiring others to look at what they can do in the future.”
