Incentive takes centre stage

Incentive Tec, part of independent facilities services company Incentive FM Group, is celebrating after landing a significant new maintenance contract. Incentive Tec has been appointed by the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) to supply mechanical and electrical services as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning to 11 high profile London theatres.

Two years after being brought into the ATG flagship theatre in Milton Keynes, Incentive Tec has now replaced the previous contractors working on the west end venues. With the unique calendar demands of theatres, Incentive Tec was appointed to take an agile approach to providing vital M&E and HVAC services to some of the most established venues in the capital.

Ben Sampson, head of facilities management at ATG, said: 'Incentive Tec were selected as a result of an extremely competitive tender process because we have been able to build the foundations of a very successful relationship with them over the past two years. We believe that Incentive Tec are able to support our vision to become the authority in facilities management in the live entertainment industry and we look forward to mobilising the 3 year contract with them in our iconic and thriving West End venues.

The award-winning ATG is a global leader in live theatre with close to 50 venues worldwide and entertains more that 11 million people each year. ATG has awarded this significant contract, which covers iconic venues including the Apollo Victoria, Phoenix and the Savoy.

Chris Windass, managing director at Incentive Tec, said: “It’s fantastic to be working for such a recognised market-leader in theatre venues and live performance, and the 3-year contract demonstrates a strong desire to build a significant partnership. We had established a trusted advisor relationship with ATG and our team has shown a dedicated commitment to delivering an excellent service. From the account directors to the engineers, we’re all absolutely thrilled to have landed this prestigious contract.”

Incentive Tec will now be responsible for optimising the building maintenance services supply chain to align with the iconic venues operating models, delivering great service and safe environments throughout. As well as mitigating operational risk across the venues, improved service delivery and performance results are also key priorities within the contract.
