Incentive FM Group makes strategic acquisition

Incentive FM Group, a leading independent contract services group, has acquired Comserve Limited, a mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance and installation services company.

The strategic move will enable Incentive to bring M&E services into its established portfolio alongside integrated facilities management, security, cleaning, and consultancy businesses.

Based in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, with turnover of £3.5m, Comserve provides market-leading M&E services to a wide range of blue chip clients at 120 sites across London and the South East. All Comserve staff have been retained and will continue to service existing clients as part of the agreement. They will still work directly for Comserve’s joint managing directors, Ian Wheeler and Chris Balderson, who are now supported by Incentive FM Group managing director Martin Reed and his wider team.

Incentive FM Group chairman, Jeremy Waud, said: “M&E has been the missing link in our portfolio of standalone services even though it has been a big part of our integrated service offer for many years. The Comserve team and client base are highly complementary to our organisation. We will be investing in the business and staff to help it to grow its client base whilst providing a broader range of services.”
