ICS and Tricool move in together

ICS' head office in New Milton and Tricool's manufacturing facility in Fareham are moving to a new site in Totton, near Southampton.
The move is taking place throughout April. Tricool moved to the Totton site on April 11-12 and ICS and Cool Energy will move on April 25-26.

Chiller distributor Cool Energy (owned by Russ Wilson) merged with chiller supplier ICS (owned by his brother Philip Wilson) in 2005. ICS' takeover of chiller and temperature control manufacturer Tricool followed in 2007.

In the months prior to the move, staff would regularly visit each others' sites - a 40 minute drive between Tricool's Fareham base and ICS's New Milton site.

Parent company ICS Cool Energy Ltd decided to create a new 50,000sq.ft base with offices and a warehouse complete with a cooling and heating test rig and a triple production line to meet demand.

'The ICS Group has seen considerable growth over the past few years and the move to Totton will enable us to manage this success and improve for the future' said Russell.Wilson managing director.
He said 'The increased capacity will allow us to meet the growth and success of the business.'

ICS and Tricool have other sales locations in Bristol, London, Birmingham, Bradford, Glasgow, Dublin, Stuttgart, Munich and Dortmund.
