Hydratech reports record sales

Hydratech, the manufacturer of secondary refrigerants and inhibited antifreeze solutions for the HVAC, refrigeration, process cooling, power and renewable energy sectors, has seen significant increase in demand for its specialist heat transfer fluids, posting record sales for the last quarter.
Like-for-like sales were up 21%, with total fluid production topping 1.71 million litres in 2013, an increase of almost 15% on the previous year.

The company's clients include, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Nestle, Cadbury, Airbus, Red Bull, Diageo, Lidl, Arla, Warburtons, Dairy Crest, Toshiba Carrier Corporation, GEA Group, Aggreko, Siemens, EON, SSE and GDF Suez.

Managing director Steve Hickson said: 'The increased interest we are seeing in our products confirms an awareness of the problems associated to non-specialist, uninhibited fluids in multi-metal cooling systems.'

Hydratech will be exhibiting at this year's ACR Show on stand G29.
