Hydratech employee Ricky Owen has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Achiever of the Year accolade at this year’s Welsh Apprenticeship Awards.
Hydratech employee Ricky Owen has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Achiever of the Year accolade at this year’s Welsh Apprenticeship Awards.
He joined Hydratech in October 2012 and is part of the processing and manufacturing team. His responsibilities include checking raw materials on delivery, sample testing, packing and despatching and general maintenance and admin. The company says that Ricky’s positive attitude and commitment to work was evident from day one and now his dedication has been recognised by the Welsh Government.
The awards offer individuals and organisations the chance to be recognised and rewarded for their commitment, hard work, achievements and success in the Welsh Government’s Employability, Jobs Growth Wales and Apprenticeship programmes. They showcase and celebrate the achievements of those who have exceeded expectations and shown a dynamic approach to training, demonstrated initiative, enterprise, innovation and commitment to the improvement of skills development for the Welsh economy.
The award ceremony will be held at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, on 31 October.
