NEGOTIATIONS to sell the Hussmann refrigerated display cabinet business to private equity firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice for around $750m are reported to be at an advanced stage.
Ingersoll Rand, which bought Hussmann for $1.5bn in 2000, first confirmed it was selling its Hussmann refrigerated display case equipment business in April.
Hussmann has five manufacturing facilities and currently employs approximately 3,400 people. Full-year 2010 revenues for the operations to be divested were approximately $800m.
