HRS supports Eastleigh College Employer Forum

Hampshire Refrigeration Society (HRS) is supporting Eastleigh College with its Employer Forum which takes place on Wednesday 22nd February.

As one of the leading providers of RAC training in the UK, Eastleigh College is committed to engaging with employers to provide industry updates relating to legislation, training and development while listening to the needs of employers to help shape provision.

Working in conjunction with The Hampshire Refrigeration Society it strives to keep the local employers up to date with developments within the industry. Going forward it looks at being involved with regular breakfast meetings including talks on various subjects covering industry topics, from training to updates on regulations like F-gas and hydrocarbons, all from industry professionals

The provisional agenda is as follows: (Some timings may alter slightly to accommodate other possible speakers. Breakfast refreshments will be provided during the forum)

08:30 – 08:35 Welcome Eastleigh College / Hampshire Refrigeration Society and the Institute of Refrigeration

08:35 – 09:00 The NEW RACHP Apprenticeship Standard John Austin Davies of Epta/George Barker and also representing (ACRIB) the A/C and Refrigeration Industry Board

09:00 – 09:20 Apprenticeship Funding Update D an Wareham of Eastleigh College Apprenticeship Services

09:20 - 09:50 F-Gas Regs Update & New Gases Martin O’Donnell of A-Gas

09:50 – 10:30 Question and Answer Session & Networking

10:30 onwards: Advanced Engineering will have a display stand and samples will be available; Pumps to Go will have a display of the latest condensate pump technology from Siccom; and LU-VE Exchangers will have all about The new intelligent defrost for its evaporators as well as The Plug & Save Evaporator
