HRP donates ac systems to acr college
[firstParagraph]
THE HRP GROUP has presented the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education with two air conditioning systems to help train the UK's future acr engineers.
HRP's sister company 3D Air Sales supplied Grimsby College with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 20kW twin ducted split systems.
The equipment will be installed in the workshop at the institute and will be piped into the classrooms by the students.
Grimsby Institute business development manager Ian Giles said “It’s a major bonus to receive this high quality MHI equipment from HRP Group. It will give our students a hands-on insight into the job.
“It will take training to a new level. We’ll be able to place faults into the system, to see if the students can problem solve and we’ll also be able to extend our focus on commissioning, maintaining and decommissioning the equipment.”
The HRP Group said it is looking at ways of combining its training expertise with expertise at Grimsby College, particularly in relation to meeting F-Gas regulations.
HRP Group’s new Technical Centre in Slough opened in June and was established in partnership Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
