Hotchkiss made a fitting duct distributor

VENTILATION manufacturer Flakt Woods and Hotchkiss Air Supply have signed a distribution deal, that sees the Eastbourne-based firm become the main UK outlet for Flakt Woods’ range of duct fittings.
The deal includes valves, dampers, attenuators and pressed fittings.

The Hotchkiss group is made up of six businesses, (Fire Protection, Firespray International, System Hygienics and Triventek). As well as Eastbourne, Hotchkiss has offices in Dubai, Singapore and the USA.

George Latimer, Hotchkiss Air Supply managing director, said: The Flakt Woods product range complements our existing manufacturing facilities and expertise in spiral, flat oval, rectangular and colour duct. It enables us to provide a true 'one-stop-shop' facility for mechanical contractors and ductwork installers alike.'

Neil Yule, Flakt Woods UK business unit director, said: 'We are creating one of the UK's most substantial partnerships of its kind, bringing together Europe's leading manufacturer of ventilation equipment and Britain's foremost provider of ductwork-related products.

'We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the Hotchkiss group extending back over many years, working together on numerous major projects including Heathrow Terminal 5, integrating substantial packages of fans, air handling units, chillers and chilled beams.'
