A total of 13 new appointments have been made to fortify the business for anticipated growth in 2018, as Vertiv continues to reposition itself in its key markets and organise around its core tenets – customer focus, innovation, employee development, and speed.
Having separated from former parent company Emerson, Vertiv is focused on enhancing customer relationships, streamlining information-sharing internally, and shortening innovation cycles across the company.
The leadership team will continue to evaluate all aspects of the business, including the Vertiv portfolio of products and services, as well as the markets it serves and its global footprint and operations.
Among those appointed to the newly strengthened executive team, reporting to Vertiv chief executive Rob Johnson, is Giordano Albertazzi, president for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mr Albertazzi has spent nearly 20 years in ascending roles across the Emerson Network Power and Vertiv organisations, assuming responsibility for plant management, services and sales for EMEA.
Mr Johnson said: “In our first year as Vertiv, we have strengthened and streamlined our internal systems and processes, eliminated waste, and sharpened our focus on our customers.
“We will build on our progress by investing in employee development and bold, innovative additions to our portfolio, all with an eye towards the ever-changing needs of our customers.”
Vertiv has started 2018 with two significant acquisitions, having purchased Energy Labs, a global manufacturer of air handling solutions, and Geist, a global manufacturer of Rack Power Distribution Units, in January.
Mr Johnson concluded: “The executive team we have put together over the past 12 months has been instrumental in the acquisitions and ongoing integration of Energy Labs and Geist. They bring exceptional experience and enthusiasm to everything we do, and have embraced our culture of collaboration, innovation and transparency.”
