The IOR is organising the very first IIR International Conference on the Application of HFO Refrigerants.
Organised by the IOR, the inaugural conference will take place from 2-5 September 2018 in Birmingham.
With the phase-down programme now being implemented in Europe and HFOs increasingly presenting a viable alternative, the event will provide up-to-date information on these types of refrigerants.
Robert Kebby, global refrigeration business manager at Honeywell Refrigerants, commented: “Honeywell is committed to helping industries successfully transition to next-generation environmental technologies like HFOs. We are continuously working with customers and partners to help them leverage HFOs to meet their sustainability and energy efficiency goals.
“We are pleased to sponsor the inaugural IIR International Conference on the Application of HFO Refrigerants, as these types of conferences provide important education and awareness on the global community’s adoption of HFOs.”
Organisers are planning a full programme for the conference, with space for 80 peer-reviewed papers as well as leading key note speakers and technical tours and courses.
With up to 120 international participants, the conference will be a unique forum for sharing current experience of the application of these refrigerants.
If you are interested in submitting an abstract for a paper to be considered for the programme, please visit the IOR website for instructions: www.ior.org.uk/HFO2018
The closing date for submissions is 20 October 2017.
