GRAHAM Hendra, erstwhile general manager of LG air conditioning, is to put his experience into the sale of heat pumps. His new company Freedom Heat Pumps has been formed as a division of the Freedom Group, the distribution company formed by Paul Taylor and Gary Spicer in 2008.
Freedom Heat Pumps will be launched in August to sell Samsung and Hitachi heat pump systems. A dedicated showroom, close to Freedom's Eastleigh headquarters, is currently being built in time for the launch.

'With the demand for heat pumps rapidly increasing, the need for detailed advice for the installer and end user is now more important than ever and yet, to date, not forthcoming,' says Graham Hendra.

'The showroom will allow end users to see an air source heat pump installed in a real application, giving them the opportunity to see and more importantly feel the system in operation. Installers and specifiers will be welcome to bring customers in to the showroom, attend seminars on installation, sizing, design, surveying and after installation service,' he added.

A website is currently being constructed (www.freedomhp.co.uk) in time for the launch.
