Hawco joins British Refrigeration Association

Hawco has become the newest corporate member of the British Refrigeration Association (BRA), strengthening its links with manufacturers, contractors and fellow distributors across the sector. The company will contribute to three BRA groups covering commercial refrigeration cabinets, contracting, and equipment and components, focusing on supporting industry improvement and sharing technical insight.

Adam Harrison.

Technical applications manager Adam Harrison will represent Hawco within the association. He first attended a BRA meeting 15 years ago while working for a refrigerated cabinet manufacturer and now works closely with OEM designers in his role at Hawco. He plans to use this experience to reflect manufacturers’ views within the BRA community and to update Hawco’s OEM customers on regulatory developments.

Harrison said the BRA provides an open forum for discussion, noting the value of current conversations around potential changes to F-Gas regulation, energy efficiency requirements, energy labelling and eco-design compliance. He added that these issues are central to OEM planning and that Hawco, as a distributor, can offer a distinct perspective to the debate.
