Dennis Jones of BOC Gases will present his views of the ever-changing refrigerant situation, including: GWP values of HFC refrigerants, high GWP use restrictions, GWP values of new HFO refrigerants, TEWI, gas applications, flammability and availability.
Conex Bänninger and the 'Press Revolution', presented by Zoheb Khamker
The flame free press-fit solution which eliminates the requirement for hot work permits and also removes the use of nitrogen purging. The HVAC & Refrigeration Show saw a huge amount of interest in this product at the Conex Bänninger stand.
'The Cost of Quality' presented by Bitzer UK managing director Kevin Glass F.Inst.R
Kevin will be weighing up the differences between and the benefits of original products, compared to 'copy-cat' parts.
Presentations will be followed by an open forum for discussion.

Damian Wiszniewski M.Inst.R of HRP has joined the Hampshire Refrigeration Society’s committee, focusing on the events side of the society. He has been instrumental in organising the planned programme of Technical Breakfast Briefings during 2018.
Mr Wiszniewski has replaced Christina Taliadoros, who now works for Wolseley. Chairman John Emm praised her support and enthusiasm during her last three years on the committee.
