German refrigeration manufacturer Güntner has become a member of ASERCOM, the Association of European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers. Güntner, headquartered in Munich, Germany, with 50 subsidiaries and six factories around the world, manufactures a wide range of cooling systems and heat exchange solutions.

“We are very happy to welcome Güntner to the Association,' says Marco Masini, President of ASERCOM. “ASERCOM is very pleased to have such a well-known manufacturer on board. Güntner is the first manufacturer of heat exchangers within the association. Many more are invited to join. We look forward to the many new possibilities this will open up in the future.”

“We are delighted to join such a prestigious organisation and in particular we are proud to be the first member representing heat exchanger manufacturers,” says Michael Freiherr, managing director of Güntner: “Our membership of ASERCOM will also help us to continue to lead the way in sustainability for our industry. By creating and maintaining standards based around environmental protection and energy efficiency, ASERCOM contributes to a better future for all of us.”

ASERCOM is the platform for dealing with scientific and technical topics and their challenges, promoting standards for performance rating, methods of testing and product safety, focusing on improved environmental protection, serving the refrigeration and air conditioning industry and its customers.
