Güntner has appointed Michael Freiherr as head of product management, succeeding Heinz Jackmann who has moved on to new tasks within the group.
Michael trained as a refrigeration engineer and has qualified as a master craftsman for refrigeration plant construction. He has held various positions in refrigeration plant engineering and has been responsible for constructing new plants, as well as servicing and maintaining existing ones.
During his engineering course, he worked in several departments within Güntner GmbH & Co KG and went to the University of Maryland where he wrote his thesis. As an acknowledged expert for practical application aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning technology, he is responsible for innovative developments at Güntner.
