Following its official launch in April 2014, Green Point UK has now achieved ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.
The company remanufactures and repairs compressors to the highest OEM standards and is based at BITZER UK's headquarters in Milton Keynes, at a purpose-built 2600sq m facility.
Green Point UK general manager Will Pribyl says: “To be accredited to the ISO 9001:2008 standard so soon after our establishment represents a major achievement for us.”
Remanufacturing and repairing not only all BITZER products, but also other major brands, the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation covers the quality management system at Green Point UK’s remanufacturing plant and was carried out by Intertek, a UKAS accredited body. Gaining this accreditation means that Green Point compressors can be used in confidence and installed in any organisation, such as supermarkets, for whom this standard is a prerequisite.
