Graeme Maidment voted in as president elect
In the first open election of its kind mounted by the Institute, Graeme beat off challenges from Steve Gill and John Bowater, polling 52% of the vote. Steve Gill received 32% and John Bowater 16% in the results confirmed by the IOR auditor Myrus Smith and Associates.

Graeme Maidment will be joining the IOR council as president-elect on April 20.

A statement by the Institute said: 'On behalf of all of the members we would like to thank and congratulate all three candidates Graeme, Steve and John for their generosity in offering their time and expertise in serving the Institute.
