GK Industrial predicts £13m turnover

GK INDUSTRIAL expects to achieve a record turnover of £13 million for the year ending June 2009.
The company designs, installs and maintains energy efficient climate control solutions and has witnessed almost double growth in the last two years.

Based in Doncaster, GK Industrial employs 72 staff. The company's growth has been aided by the acquisition of Scotia Energy Saving Systems at the end of 2007.

GK Industrial's acquisition has been re-branded as GK Scotia. Based in Glenrothes, GK Scotia employs 62 staff, and is the largest independent air conditioning business in Scotland. GK Scotia has a £6.3 million forecast turnover in year to June 2009. Its customer base includes local authority, healthcare, educational, banking and commercial sectors.

GK Industrial's managing director David Goldberg said “The business is now ideally placed to significant increase its market share. We are now a truly national operator within the retail, commercial, industrial and public sectors.”
