Director Paurick Gaughan said: ''We are very pleased with the latest data; we have always relied on results to sell our product and we couldn't present a better result than this.''
The trial was carried out on a live supermarket, installing one tablet in each multi-deck HT display chiller. The call out data for the preceding six months revealed 20 call-outs for water leaks on the sales floor. In the six months since installing the tablets, the store recorded no call-outs to the treated cases for water leaks.
Mr Gaughan added: ''Our new half tablet was developed for customers cleaning their cases every six months. With a one year tablet that coats the drains, a clean six months later risks cleaning the coating off. Installing the one year tablet in two halves better suits retailers' operations, and maintains the full one year's protection.''
Gel-clear tablets have shown an immediate operating cost reduction of over 90 percent in absorbent strips and reactive call-outs alone. Gel-clear has won two industry awards for its condensate drain tablet: Refrigeration Product of the Year 2016 and HIVE Innovation Award 2017.
Mr Gaughan concluded: ''Anything we claim about our product is supported by data from current users, and we are so confident in our products results that we will install them free of charge for anyone who wants to see the results for themselves before they commit.''
