GEA sees sales rise 5.2%

GERMANY: The GEA Group, one of the largest refrigeration equipment manufacturers, saw sales increase by 5.2% to EUR5,901m in 2012, according to the latest financial figures.
The company's Refrigeration Technologies division, which includes compressor brands Grasso and Bock as well as such well-known names as Grenco, Geneglace and AWP, saw sales rise by 7.35% from EUR647.2m in 2011 to EUR694.8m.

GEA Heat Exchangers, which includes Searle, Kuba and Goedhart, experienced a slight drop of 0.5% from EUR1,616.8m in 2011 to 1,608.8m last year.

Group revenue for the full year rose by 5.6% to EUR5,720m.
