G&L Beijer signs refrigeration supply deal with GDF Suez

G&L BEIJER AB, parent company of UK wholesaler Dean & Wood, has signed a global agreement with the French energy company GDF Suez. Under the agreement Beijer Ref becomes a preferred supplier of refrigeration systems and comfort cooling equipment to GDF Suez in all markets.
GDF Suez reported sales of €80bn in 2009 and has approximately 200,000 employees. The group's main focus is on the power-production markets in Europe and on exploration and production of natural gas globally.

This is the first agreement of its kind that Beijer Ref has signed with a global customer.

'In its global acquisition and growth strategy, Beijer Ref has focused on synergies, especially within purchasing, which has resulted in significant savings, said G & L Beijer md Joen Magnusson. 'Our agreement with GDF Suez is intended to create synergies also on the customer and sales side and generate additional revenues.
