SWEDISH refrigeration wholesaler G & L Beijer, owners of Dean & Wood, has completed its acquisition of United Refrigeration's wholesale operations in France and the UK.
The acquisition announced on 1 September 2011, relates to two companies. In total both companies report sales equivalent to £59m (SEK 610m) and have 169 employees.

The total consideration for both companies amounts to approximately £23m (SEK 240m) on a debt-free basis. The consideration is financed through own funds and increased borrowing.

G & L Beijer says the purchases will strengthen its position still further in the French and British markets.
