G & L Beijer AB has bought the Czech refrigeration wholesale company, Fridanair, through its Beijer Ref business.
Dean&Wood's owner bought Fridanair through Beijer Ref, a group of European refrigeration wholesalers and manufacturers which form the largest supplier in Scandinavia and Europe of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Fridanair, the newly-bought cooling equipment supplier, has 20 employees and is based in Pilson in the Czech Republic.

The Fridanair acquisition means Beijer Ref can add the Czech Republic to its market in Europe. Fridanair's purchase follow's Beijer Ref's acquisition of RK Slovakia earlier this year.

Beijer Ref already has operations in 16 European countries. Including the Czech Republic, Beijer Ref currently has operations in eight countries in Eastern Europe. The other countries are Poland, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Romania.
