FSW has announced that is has acquired Beacon Design and Engineering's British refrigeration equipment business.
Established in 1997, Beacon is based in Havant, Hampshire, and is a specialist producer of compressor packs, condensing units and special build products.

Beacon becomes part of the FSW UK business, which comprises Just One Call, NRW fm and ESP, in addition to a 23 branch wholesale operation.

Owner of Beacon, Andy Fry, is joining the FSW Group. He said: 'I'm looking forward to developing the Beacon business under the FSW banner with the extra sales activity they will bring to us.'

Meanwhile, FSW chairman, Dermot Byrne, said: 'Beacon brings new products and customers to FSW and we can grow the business by developing the product range and customer base.'

There will be no changes at Beacon, which will continue to trade as a separate company within the FSW UK business.
